Welcome to the Mod Dolly website terms and conditions for use. If you continue to use this website at www.moddolly.com, you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use.
Ordering from us
You can place an order with us using our online checkout facility. During this process you will be able to check your order before payment to correct any errors. We will send you a confirmation of order once processed.
Ordering more than one dress to ‘try on’.
We do allow you to order more than one of the same dress but please be aware that we make each dress to order so please refrain from ordering different sizes just to ‘try on’. A lot of time is spent hand making these dresses, therefore if you would like to return an item because you ordered it twice to try on the sizes then we have the right to refuse a return and also have the right to cancel your order if we are aware of the intention to try different sizes on.
Delivery costs are charged in addition to the total value of goods ordered and are clearly shown at the checkout screen. If you have any questions regarding delivery, please see our delivery policy or do not hesitate in contacting us at email@example.com

Orders placed over the weekend will be processed on the first working day of the week.
We refuse to accept an order if:
1) The goods are not available or out of stock.
2) Your payment cannot be authorised during the checkout process.
3) We are unable to deliver your goods to your country of residence.
Handmade to order
Most Mod Dolly items are handmade to order and take up to 7 days to make before we dispatch them. Please bare this in mind when ordering for a special event or occasion. We hand make everything in London and this does take time, especially at busy times of the year. Please appreciate that you are buying a handmade item and that delivery can sometimes be delayed at times.
We no longer do made to measure sizes as it is no longer economical for us to do so.
We still do changes to dresses such as custom length changes to sleeves, hems etc.
Custom changes cost £10 because we have to cut another dress especially for the change. All our dresses are pre-cut and ready to sew to order, so custom orders do take us longer complete.
Custom dresses take 10 days to dispatch.
Custom orders are NOT available on sale items and we do not allow promotion codes to be used on custom orders. If you would like to make a custom change please email us at email@example.com but please be aware that a £10 charge will be added to the final price of your dress.
Cancellation and returns
If you wish to change or cancel your order, please do so by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org within 12 hours of your purchase.
If you wish to return your order upon delivery, please email us first and you return it to us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund or exchange.
The return postage fees shall be covered by the customer and not Mod Dolly. We will issue a refund or send an exchange upon receipt of goods from the customer. Funds may take 5-7 days to reach your account. If an exchange item is requested, Mod Dolly will cover the postage fee to send the exchange item to the customer.
Please send returns back via recorded delivery so that you have proof of postage in-case it goes missing
Mod Dolly uses standard 'signed for' delivery services. This service can be tracked and we will send you the tracking number upon dispatch notification.
The return is your responsibility until it reaches us
If we send out your order and it doesn't reach you we will either send out a replacement asap or refund your order and postage. If you send an item back to us and it gets lost in the post, it is your responsibility to claim the items value from the delivery service.
We will do our utmost to track orders, however if your order is at your local sorting office it is up to you to collect it from there.
The right to return goods will not apply if the goods have been used/worn or are damaged in anyway.
If you have requested an exchange of a different size of the same style then the exchange is final as you have had change to try on that particular style. All other exchanges of different styles are only exchangeable if the item is faulty. If a further different size is needed then the customer must pay for the return of the item plus the shipping cost of the further size.
All items must be returned in the original condition in the original packaging with the swing tag attached.
ALL SALE ITEMS ARE NON REFUNDABLE unless FAULTY. We exchange sale items only- Please see size chart before ordering. If you have any questions please email us.
Custom changes such as length changes etc are NOT available on SALE items.
As each dress is handmade, even in the SALE, please allow 1 week before dispatch as we can get extremely busy at SALE times.
All all SALE orders are final so please read our size chart before ordering.
You are permitted to print or download content from our website, however if you intend to use it for blogging or commercial purposes then please inform us and link back to our website.
You are not permitted to modify any images or text upon download or reproduce/store any part of the website in another website prior to our approval.
If you wish to link to this website you may do so on the basis that you link to the website and not replicate the website. You are not permitted to modify the Mod Dolly logo or imply that we are endorsing any products other than our own.
The sizes of our garments follow standard UK sizes. Please read our size chart before ordering to avoid any confusion. Please appreciate that each dress is handmade to order and ordering multiple sizes to ‘try on’ will deem your order un-returnable.
